How to Take Care of Your New Puppy

  4. Give enough food, do not continue to feed it doesn't eat. Healthy puppies will consume only as much food as needed. Overeating causes diarrhoea.

  6. New puppies might cry for first few days. If it is crying, leave it alone. This will take around 2-3 days.
  7. Check the health of the dog you just bought by taking it to the vet.
  8. To provide comfort to your puppy, provide a warm and comfortable bed. Place your puppy's bed in a quiet place and not much interference. Your puppy may cry on the first night without his mother and siblings, the sound of a small volume of radio or the ticking of a clock will help him feel calmer.

  10. Puppies are one group member in your family. You must teach your dog that you are a leader in the group. After the puppy knows his place, he will be easier to train and obey your commands as a group leader who will protect him and make decisions for him.
